Powerful 5-string Extreman with beautiful reddish-brown padouk!

This model, Extreman 5 Strings, uses bright reddish-brown padouk for the top wood and alder for the back wood. It has a maple/wenge/mahogany 5-piece through-neck construction.
The fingerboard is Ebony, an upgrade option.

Pickups are Aguilar, and the preamp is also Aguilar OBP3.
Controls are volume/PU balancer/3-band EQ (boost/cut) (middle is boost only).

The sound has a very wide range, and the variable range by EQ is also wide, allowing for a very wide range of sound makeup. The middle can be pushed/pulled to select the bandwidth, which is also a big attraction.
When the EQ is flat, the sound is clear and unrefined, and the single cut gives a full low-B tone and the rich midrange of the alder body.
The J-type front pickup and MM-type rear pickup give the sound a clear outline, and the overall sound is exquisitely balanced.BassThe sound is well balanced overall!
