This model has a Journeyman Relic that reproduces a guitar that has been loved and cherished by several owners. The weather checks that are faintly visible in the ultra-thin lacquer coating create an overwhelming sense of presence. This 2023 Fender Custom Shop LTD 60s Stratocaster Journeyman Relic is a reproduction of an early 1960s Stratocaster with a slab board, in which the joint surface of the rosewood fingerboard and maple neck is applied flat.

Jumbo frets are used for the frets, and the fretboard is 9.5" radius, which is flatter than the usual vintage-type fretboards, allowing for a lower string height for modern use. The controls are master volume, master tone, and a blender for the rear and front pickup at the rear and middle half positions, allowing all pickups to be output, giving a more versatile sound than a normal Strat.

High-quality wood, thin lacquer coating, and time- and cost-efficient construction produce a sound of a higher rank. The mellow and usable model with a mid-range that gives a sense of color and warmth spun out from the high-quality alder body. The sound is not deliberate, and even if people say, "Is that real?
