The D-28 has undergone specification changes even in recent years.

If you take a look at the characteristics of each period, you will become more attached to the "nippachi" that is representative of Martin.

The one we have just received is from 2014.
The golden brown body top has a unique used appearance. It is a different color from the current model, which is a great attraction.
The Indian rosewood used for the body sides and back has a strong appearance with clear shades of grain.

Designs such as plus-screw Grover tuners and gold decal logos are characteristic of this period.

The bracing pattern is non-scalloped X-bracing.
The body weight is heavy at 2.30 kg.
Although the correlation is not clear, it has a great volume that responds well to scratching strokes.
On the other hand, it can also express fragility because it produces a contoured sound even with delicate nuances.
It is easy to add dynamics throughout the performance, so it may be perfect for storytelling.
