Description

Scalloped ST72-145RB with Ritchie's specs !

Ritchie Blackmore is extremely popular and well-known as a guitarist of Deep Purple.
This is the iconic large head Stratocaster that he used.
Fender Japan produced the ST72-145RB based on the ST72 in his image.
The fingerboard has a scalloped fretboard, and the width of the scallop gradually widens from the high strings at the low frets to the high frets.
Seymour Duncan SSL-4 pickups are installed on the front and rear positions, and the center position is dummy coil, which is also made in the image of his Strat.

The SSL-4's mellow and warm P-90-like tone and easy vibrato/chalking with the scallop make it a perfect match for slow blues and more, not to mention sounding like Richie's!
