The first artist model of SG2000 was SG2000MT by Masayoshi Takanaka, but this SG1000XY is the first SG1000XU that YAMAHA officially sold with the artist's name on it. 1000XYThis SG1000XU model by Tsuyoshi Tojiki was the first SG1000XU to be officially sold with an artist's name.

The SG1000X was released in 1984 and was the first SG1000 model to be equipped with a tremolo unit, and unlike the regular SG1000, the neck heel is heel-less without a step.

The SG1000XY has a unique character not found in other SGs, and we hope you will enjoy it!
