Description

rudolf schenker model with kahler tremolo unit!

Modeled by Rudolf Schenker, guitarist and songwriter of the hard rock/heavy metal band "Scorpions", who is still active today.
This model was released in 1985, when Gibson's Kalamazoo factory was closed in 1984 and the company itself changed to a new structure in 1986.
This model was one of the many guitars released with all kinds of specifications.
Gibson's Flying V is known to have been used by his younger brother, Michael Schenker, and Michael's Flying V is famous for having the pickguard and rod cover reversed in black and white.
This model is equipped with a Kahler tremolo, and it is a rare one that has been manufactured for only about one year!

The rear pickup has been replaced with a Duncan SH-5, and while it has the clean tone that is typical of the V, it also produces a sound that is supported by a solid foundation of mid and low frequencies.
It is difficult to feel the sense of loss when playing backing and arpeggios on other V's. This is a signature model that truly embodies Rudolph's sound!

This model is recommended not only for Rudolph fans, but also for those who have never played Flying V before!
