Rare 32" scale BB2000S!

The BB series has been a long seller among YAMAHA's Bass lineup, and has been loved for a long time since its release in 1978.
This model is a 32" scale model of the BB released in 1982.
In the catalog, it was called a short scale model, but since it is 32 inches long, it is a medium scale model.
The body size itself is also one size smaller than the long scale BB. The sound and design concept follows the long scale BB, but it was developed and designed as a 32" scale model.

It has a maple/mahogany through-neck construction with a striped ebony fingerboard.
This model has been modified to be fretless, and it outputs a mellow sound with BB-like tightness.

The controls are volume/Bass/treble.
The 2-band EQ can be boosted or cut, but it is quite peaky.
It is better to use it for fine tuning rather than for sound creation at hand.

The string tension is a little looser than long scale, and the warm sound of fretless and the tightness of BB are well matched on this modificationBass!
