1982 Ibanez AR300GL with gold top from the legendary AR series

Ibanez" was originally a brand of Hoshino Gakki for overseas export, and around 1973, "The ARTIST SERIES" was launched as a guitar project to directly reflect the voices of players through tie-ups with famous musicians. Based on the "double cutaway" body shape, a wide range of models were released the following year, using four-digit numbers as model numbers. In 1979, the AR300 was released in Japan as a triumphant return from its high reputation overseas, with the model number AR, and was also released overseas as the AR series. The top of the body is made of maple, which gives it a well-balanced sound with gorgeous highs and warm mids. Controls include volume and tone for each pickup, pickup selector toggle switch, and tri-sound switch for each pickup. The tri-sound switch provides three different sounds: phase out, coil tap, and normal humbucking, giving you a wide variety of sounds. This model reaffirms the quality of the original construction that built the legend.
