Limited edition of 600 Deep Purple color SG2000 was produced in 1981!

The SG2000 was developed based on the concept of "an electric guitar that can be used by professionals." By incorporating elements not found on previous SG series guitars, such as the T-cross one-piece neck, sustain plate, and newly developed PU, the SG2000 is truly an electric guitar that can be used by professionals. The quality of the guitar is just as good as the concept.

The deep purple color of the SG2000, limited to 600 pieces, was produced in July and August 1981 and is very popular, and is famous for being used by John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The Deep Purple SG2000 has become less and less common over the years.
