Rare non-bridge pin style
Gibson / 1977 J-40
Very rare non-bridgepin style square shoulder model from Gibson.
It was produced for only 12 years from 1971 to 1982.
This guitar was distributed at that time when J-45 required square shoulder and double X bracing.
The guitar has been neck reset/refretted after arrival at our store, so it is in excellent playing condition, and its original potential has been maximized and it can be used for a long time with confidence.
You can experience a real 70's Gibson acoustic guitar.
It has a hard, bright sound that is completely different from the sound of a so-called J-45 or Hummingbird.
The Schaller Flower Tuner used since 1977, just when this guitar was made, is also unique.
If you are looking for a guitar that looks and sounds like no one else's, this is the one for you! This is a great choice for those who want to look and sound like no one else!
