Mad Cat is well-known for Prince's use.

H.S.Anderson, a brand established by Moridaira Instruments in 1973, is famous for Prince's use of Mad Cat, which was released overseas under the HOHNER brand, as his main guitar from around the time of his third album, "Dirty Mind". This guitar, featuring a tortoiseshell pickguard, walnut centerline, and maple top and back, is an early non-serial model manufactured from around 1973 to 1975. It was a very high-end model for its time, and as its flashy looks suggest, it has a powerful sound that is sharp, beautiful, and attractive for cutting and thick, nubby lead sounds. The original early model was rarely seen on the market and has a high market value overseas. It is a one-of-a-kind guitar that allows you to spend a pleasant time with the guitar in your hands, immersed in nostalgia while watching videos of Prince at the time, saying, "This guitar is really cool after all.
