This one features a late 60's adjustable bridge/wood saddle. Slightly reddish brown sunburst is very cool and looks like a Gibson vintage from this period.
In fact, this guitar had a big problem when it was first received. The truss rod threads were broken/crushed, and the adjustable rod, which is a key feature of Gibson, was not working. We wanted to make sure that the guitar would continue to look great and be used with care for many years to come, so we set it up from scratch in a usable condition without any hassle.
We replaced the truss rod and fingerboard/fretboard. We restored the guitar to a state where it can be set up as we usually do, and we pursued the playability/sound.
We understand that there are some concerns about the replacement of the original components, but we believe that the sound has been finished to the point where it is unmistakable.
The fingerboard was replaced with a Hakaranda, which is a very cool looking wood with a solid shade of black and brown.
The sound is bright and bouncy, with the taste of LG-1/vintage with a high-end element.
