It features a more compact body with a shorter horn than the SKB3006, likely based on the SKB5006's body shape.
It features beautiful quilted burl maple for the top and Spanish cedar for the back. The neck is bolt-on construction, a 3-piece maple/purpleheart. The fingerboard is cocobolo with inlaid fret lines.
Both the pickup and preamp are Bartolini. Controls include Volume, Balancer, and a 3-band EQ.
The sound is clear yet conveys the warmth of dry wood, with the fretless design, wood composition, and electronics working exceptionally well together.
