AYERS" was established with the desire to make it easier to enjoy quality handmade guitars. AYERS was named after "Ayers Rock" in honor of the Australian guitar maker, Gerard Gilley, who gave us his advice on guitar making and design. AYERS" is a brand that has been attracting attention worldwide for its use of high quality materials and careful handmade production.
The one introduced here was designed by Ayers Japan, an authorized distributor in Japan, and is a full custom order.
The body is a small jumbo body. The body top is made of beautiful white spruce with a sense of transparency that exudes a sense of luxury. Some of you may be surprised at the picture of the side back. The side backs are made of superbly grained Vietnamese rosewood. This wood is highly called as a substitute for Hakaranda, and its "palin" sound characteristic can be felt as well as its powerful appearance.
The rosette is a combination of Avalon and wood, giving it a luxurious feel. The paint is a satin finish with no gloss, and wood binding is used instead of a pickguard, making the most of the material itself and allowing the player to enjoy the finish.
The pegs are GOTOH banjo pegs, which are very unique and can be enjoyed as a work of art.
The nut width is designed slightly wider at 45.0mm, and the slim grip provides smooth playability. The sound is characterized by good response and sparkle. The sound is light, but the sustain has a deep resonance that envelops the rosewood space.
Don't miss this supreme handmade guitar that combines quality and character.
