"There's a sound only a well-played guitar can produce." Have you ever felt that?
While the beauty of a new guitar is appealing, it can feel somehow lacking. A guitar that fits your hands, one whose sound you already know, responds more honestly to your music—this Silhouette resonates with those who seek that feeling.
The Silhouette, famously Keith Richards' main guitar during his solo period before the Rolling Stones' 1993 reunion. Among Silhouettes, this particular model is a rare gem featuring the distinctive H-S-H pickup layout characteristic of the early Silhouette era.It features two Schaller humbuckers from 1989, one in the front and one in the rear, with a single-coil pickup positioned in the center. The tremolo unit and tuners also retain the specifications of that era. While differing from Keith's own hardtail setup, it strongly preserves the distinctive character unique to the early models.
The body shows considerable wear: paint chips, dents, and scorch marks from stickers. Yet this is proof of its long life on stage, played relentlessly in real gigs. Because it lived to make sound, not to be displayed, its response when you strum a chord and its playability that feels like it's glued to your hands carry an unmatched conviction.
If you're someone who values substance over appearance, or if you're searching for a guitar that truly sings, this Silhouette is undoubtedly a contender. Its battle-hardened sound and feel are the rewards of years of real-world use. Now, it's your turn to make this guitar sing.
