SB1200S with a through-neck construction!

The Super Bass series debuted in the mid-1970s and was manufactured until 1982.
While a relatively short-lived model compared to the enduring BB series still sold today, it stands as a hidden gem beloved for its unique body shape and tight sound.

This unit is a 1981 SB1200S, the top model in the SB series at the time.
Unlike the bolt-on construction of lower-end models, the SB1200S features a maple/mahogany through-neck construction. The body is made of nato wood.

It features the characteristic extended sustain typical of a through-neck design.
The nut width is similar to a standard PrecisionBass, and the neck is thick and substantial, offering a solid grip. This neck thickness is reflected in the sound, delivering a rich, full-bodied tone with a solid core!
