The MBC series is a modern model developed by the long-established Japanese manufacturer Moon based on its unique concept.

This model features a laminated walnut/mahogany body with a bolt-on neck. It is equipped with Bartolini pickups and preamp, featuring 2 volume controls and a 3-band EQ.
The EQ only boosts; when all EQ is cut, the volume drops to zero.

It delivers a sound focused on the midrange, producing a high-end Bass-like frequency response that makes the Bass line stand out clearly within an ensemble.
The EQ also allows for low-end support, so while the EQ has a bit of a quirk, it offers an extremely wide range of sound-shaping possibilities.
