[ Features]
Among Martin trumpets' "Committee Reissue Models," this popular black lacquer finish stands out. Its deep, rich "jet black" is complemented by full engraving covering the entire bell. Furthermore, the tuning slide, slide rings, upper and lower valve caps, and buttons are all gold-plated.
Its appearance is simply "powerful." It makes a strong stage presence, instantly captivating the player the moment it's held. This instrument belongs to the early reissue period, featuring a long-stroke piston system and lacking a first-valve trigger. The quintessential "Committie" character remains intact, where the player's air and attack nuances directly translate into the tone. At the same time, it offers the smooth airflow and darker timbre characteristic of the colored lacquer reissue models. With time since production ended, black lacquer engraved models have become increasingly scarce in recent years. This is one instrument where "the moment you see it is the moment to buy."
