A rare guitar that was produced as a one-off order model and is believed to have been the original guitar that was later released as a custom-ordered model
The body top is made of 5A quilted maple top and looks very beautiful. This is an early model that uses Tokai's original SEB construction, with quarter-sawn spruce sandwiched between two pieces of vertically cut and pasted wood in the center, which transmits sound four times faster than a guitar using regular horizontal wood. The cutaway section has also been carefully machined to achieve high playability up to the high position. In order to reduce overall weight, the thickness of the body has been made a little thinner, which is also in consideration of the playing aspect. The binding of the thin, high-performance mahogany neck is made of the same luxurious quilted maple as the head and body tops, and the escutcheon and truss rod cover are also made of wood-applied parts, giving a sense of attention to detail in their construction. The ultra-thin all-lacquer coating brings out the best of the carefully selected woods. The sound has warmth and firmness in the midrange, and is very responsive and easy to nuance.
Because it is a one-off original model, the use of wood and production methods that spare no time or cost make this guitar a cut above regular models. The Les Paul type guitars are the true essence of Tokai Les Pauls, and even if you wanted to make a guitar like this, you have no idea how much it would cost today. This guitar combines both beauty and performance, and when it is played on stage and exposed to the light, it is sure to become the talk of the town.
