On the other hand, it is also true that the first generation has its own charm and has a certain number of fans. The external shape is different from the later models, and the weight is slightly heavier, around 95g compared to the typical 90g.
While the 2nd and 3rd generations have a light sound full of color, the 1st generation has a thicker and calmer sound. In particular, the LV cup series introduced here has a deep cup, which gives the model a somewhat flugelhorn-like feel.

The LV cup is similar to a V-shaped version of the current M cup for flugelhorns. This mouthpiece is perfect for those who want a soft, sweet sound with an easy upper register. The only reason we discontinued this model was because we needed to keep the cup menu as small as possible; the XLV has a really deep cup, and we had to make sure that it was as deep as possible. But you will be amazed at how effortlessly it blows compared to the deep cups of other makers. Jazz players who are looking for a unique warm flugelhorn-like sound should definitely give it a try. Oh, and anyone who tries these models.Third generation XL3 cupsshould also try the It's an exquisitely designed mouthpiece with a large cup capacity for deep power."
