Ash body/rosewood fingerboard JB type!

Vanzandt, a pickup brand highly regarded for its vintage replicas and modern models.BassThe body is crafted by PGM, a long-established Japanese workshop known for building guitars/Bass including the domestic brand Moon.

The JBV-R1 typically features an ash body and maple fingerboard, but this unit has a rosewood fingerboard.
The neck joint is marked "Replacement," suggesting it was likely custom-ordered with a rosewood neck.
The pickups are Vanzandt originals.

Characterized by the distinct, well-defined low end typical of an ash body and clear, projecting highs. It offers a wide-ranging sound, yet avoids being overly bright or boomy, delivering a balanced jazz bass tone with solid midrange presence!

While there is significant wear, including paint loss and dents, it has been thoroughly maintained by our shop's repairman!
