A multi-effects unit made in the Soviet Union that existed in the 1980s!
It looks like a tape echo in a wooden box! Polivoks (ПоливоксPolivoks (Поливокс) is an effect unit for guitar/organ/microphone, manufactured in the same Formanta factory that produced synthesizers. The left side is the preamp section (which distorts when the volume is turned up), and the center section is used to switch vibrato (two knobs) on/off, fuzz on/off, fuzz tone switching, octave on/off, and octave type. Octave ON/OFF, and the type of octave can be switched. The right section (why is there main power here?) is the echo/delay or flanger section. The top lid has a switch to switch between the two. The fuzz sound is especially unique and worth mentioning. When combined with a psychedelic sound when vibrato is applied, and a foot pedal that changes volume and filter-like effects, it is truly chaotic. The previous owner imported it from Ukraine before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I don't think the sound quality and noise are praiseworthy,EffectorHowever, it is a gem with enough elements to appeal to the hearts of enthusiasts. This is the V2 version, not the tape echo type (V1). This is a very unique effect unit that will probably not be available again in the future.
