The vintage C.G. Cornet 44H Conqueror model tenor trombone with a Voca bell was manufactured from 1932 to 1951.Without any flange or wire on the bell rim, it features a straight, resonant feel as if the bell itself is large and resonating. The thick wall thickness all the way to the bell tip produces a dark, warm tone when played lightly. Pushing the accelerator brings out a powerful, brassy sound. It is an expressive and distinctive instrument.
