[Features]
A bass trombone by Besson, one of Britain's most prestigious manufacturers. This instrument is a rare model featuring Hugman valves, produced for only seven years starting in 1998. Compared to the firm response of traditional rotary valves, it offers the smooth airflow and soft resistance characteristic of Hugman valves. The sound has a rounded contour, full body, and beautiful resonance. The bell, made of red brass with a high copper content and silver-plated finish, and the 10.5-inch large bell produce a symphonic tone that inherits British tradition while possessing a European brightness. Its sound, powerful yet warm, spreads to envelop the entire hall. A second British sound where tradition and evolution intersect. This instrument naturally commands presence not only in brass bands but also in orchestras.
