Beyond the orthodox 2-volume, 1-tone controls, pushing/pulling the tone knob switches the pickup configuration between series and parallel.
The Low-B string's exceptionally clear tone was particularly impressive.
It delivers uniform nuance across all strings (1-5), eliminating any muddiness in the Low-B and maintaining the same tonal character as a 4-string passive JB.
