Headway / HOM-500DX/MR'23 CSF,S-ESV/ATB
"A top-notch Japanese-made guitar for you"

This auditorium-sized guitar was created primarily by Headway Custom Shop builder Arata Furuhata.
Thanks to outstanding craftsmanship, a guitar with excellent design and high quality has been created.
-Madagascar rosewood, a rare material that is difficult to obtain

One of the features of this instrument is that it uses rare Madagascar rosewood for the sides and back.
Rosewood, which originates from Madagascar, is characterized by a clean yet warm tone that has a certain depth to it.
The beautiful grain also gives off a sense of strength.

The top is made of Japanese black Ezo spruce (black Ezo pine), which has a bright, forward-projecting sound and is also excellent for sustain.
It has beautiful, even grain.

The pickguard is made of lavish Madagascar rosewood, and the lower right corner is decorated with a combination of the number 500 and the letters DX, indicating this is a special model.
Every time you look at the glossy pickguard, you'll feel like you own a luxurious guitar.

The fingerboard is made of ebony, and snowflake inlays add a sparkling glow to the jet black fingerboard.

The neck is made of African mahogany.
The neck profile is an extra slim V-neck.
The regular 500 series uses a U-shape, but for this model a V-shape was chosen to harmonize Headway's tradition with modernity.
The V-shape fits comfortably in your hand, making chord work easy.

The bridge is made of ebony, just like the fingerboard.
It features an inlay of feathers that look like they are taking flight.

The headstock is made of Madagascar rosewood and features the Headway logo and an eagle inlay.
The way the small parts are carefully placed together is a testament to the craftsmanship of the artisans.

The tuning machines are GOTOH open-back tuners, and the antique gold-finished pegs give the head a finishing touch.
What do you think?
Not only is it made from rare materials, but it is also packed with the craftsmanship of Arata Furuhata, who inherited the techniques of his mentor, Yasuo Momose, and is known for his bold design and bracing and reinforcement materials that pursue sound.
The wood selection and craftsmanship that are unique to Japanese-made guitars are sure to satisfy the player.
