"In tribute to John D'Angelico"
The D'Angelico story began in 1932 at a small guitar shop in Little Italy, New York.
Founder John D'Angelico produced guitars in small quantities, combining meticulous craftsmanship with a unique aesthetic.
His archtop guitars were acclaimed as masterpieces of the 20th century, but he passed away at the young age of 59 in 1964.
Time passed, and in 2011
a project began in New York to revive the Di Angelico brand, aiming to carry on the spirit of guitar making John had built.
The 2022 Excel Tammany XT is a model produced within this project.
It features a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany sides and back.
The OM body size is a popular shape regardless of manufacturer.
Equipped with Fishman pickups as standard, it's sure to shine on stage!
The headstock features D'Angelico's signature form.
The aluminum truss rod cover boasts a striking design inspired by the Art Deco architecture (like the Empire State Building) that dominated New York's skyscrapers around 1930.

- There is a repaired crack on the body side near the 6th string, but otherwise it shows minimal wear and is in beautiful condition.
-String height at 12th fret: 6th string side 2.5mm, 1st string side 2.0mm
-Saddle relief: Approximately 2.5mm to 3.5mm
-Electronics function properly and have been verified.
