This Jabba Classic 4 model is discontinued from the current lineup.
Featuring a flamed maple top, alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, it employs a slightly longer 34.25-inch scale length compared to standard long scales.
The compact body with a deep cutaway incorporates a step at the joint, enhancing playability in the higher positions.
It features Mayones' original M-BP2 preamp, with controls including 2 Volume knobs, 2-band EQ, Tone, and an Active/Passive switch, allowing for active/passive mode switching.
Its look is refined modern jazzBass, but its sound is clear yet warm, very straightforward and easy to use!
When boosting lows/highs, it differs slightly from the typical "boomy" sound; the low-mids are strongly emphasized, allowing it to reliably handle the pitch-defined bottom end within an ensemble!
Even in passive mode, it delivers a solid, straightforward sound, making it easy to shape your tone through an amp or Effector.
