Fender Custom Shop master builder Todd Krauss, who has worked on guitars for Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, among others, since becoming senior master builder in 1997, has taken up the challenge.

This model is a faithful reissue of a 1956 Stratocaster. It perfectly follows the specifications of the period with a small head, spaghetti logo, single string retainer, one-ply pickguard with 8-point stopper, and maple one-piece neck. The neck is a thick, soft V-shape for a comfortable grip, and the body is made of carefully selected alder wood. The thin contouring comparable to vintage is also superb, and is comparable to the real thing.

In addition, original pickups wired at the Custom Shop are installed. The pickups reproduce not only the subtle nuances of expression but also the precise overtone structure, reflecting the player's sensibilities in the sound. The materials, craftsmanship, and tone are all top-notch.
