SUGI CRAFT / Nougat is a model for expressive guitarists who are not satisfied with merely pressing chords, who want to weave the expression of a song with fine control of strength, tension, and overtones, and who want to reflect their own touch in the sound. The transparent high frequency range of the single-ply Sitka spruce and the deep low frequency range of the Indian rosewood are beautifully blended together, making this guitar suitable for a wide range of playing styles, from delicate fingerstyle to powerful strokes. The string height is set at 1.0 to 1.6mm, which provides a light touch but a firm sound, and the response that seems to translate the movement of the fingertips directly into sound brings out the player's full expression. The high precision of the Gotoh 510 pegs also contributes to a sense of reliability on stage and in recording, making this a guitar that is not only perfect as a guitar, but also a partner that will grow on you the longer you use it.
