Jerzy Drozd is a brand by a small group of elite staff including luthier Jerzy Drozd, who has a workshop in Barcelona, Spain.
The brand offers a lineup that includes collaborative models with 8- and 10-string bass player Yves Carbonne and flamenco/jazz bassist Carles Benavent, and produces highly original instruments such as 4-string basses, 12-string basses, and other special multi-string basses. The bridge is also made of original parts, and the special body shape is realized as well as the uncompromising attention to design with the PU and soundhole.
Controls include Master Volume, Master Tone, 3-band EQ, Mid Frequency switch, and Active/Passive switch.
Despite this body shape, there are no adverse effects such as head drop and easy access to the high position.
