Custom Shop's signature model of "Jeff Beck" with a higher grade sound.
The idea for the Custom Shop was conceived in late 1984, and in March 1985, CBS was replaced by a new organization, which brought in Michael Stevens and John Page in 1986. This was the official start of the Custom Shop. For nearly 30 years, the company has been providing musicians with instruments that live up to the "Dream Factory" name with original ideas, great taste, the best materials, and a wealth of experience. The "Jeff Beck" model in the Custom Artist Series is a Stratocaster that embodies Jeff Beck's desire for maximum playability. Locking pegs for easy string changes, a locking roller nut that reduces frictional resistance while minimizing deviation from the norm even with heavy arming, a truss rod that allows easy neck adjustment from the head side, jumbo frets for superior playability, and a heel-less design that eliminates frustration even in high positions. The body joint is cut to a low noise level despite the single pickup, and the hot noiseless pickups provide a powerful and easy-to-use sound. This Stratocaster is made of carefully selected woods and finished slowly and carefully with outstanding technical skills, sparing no time and cost.
