Like the Bad Cat amp, this model features a custom-designed transformer, two vacuum tubes, and hand-soldered point-to-point wiring. It has a two-channel configuration, with Channel 1 for clean and clean boost tones, and Channel 2 for crunch and high-gain tones. The foot switch on the left side is for bypass, while the right side switches between Channel 1 and Channel 2. The LEDs indicate green for bypass, yellow for Channel 1, and red for Channel 2. The sound has a solid punch with excellent clarity and response. Channel 2 can handle extremely heavy distortion. Compared to models like the MATCHLESS Hot Box, this amp offers easier access to internal components, improving maintainability.
