Taylor / 1994 810
Taylor Guitars was founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listag.
Unlike conventional acoustic guitars, Taylor Guitars continues to produce original products with a wide variety of body styles and unique pickup systems, and in 2016, Taylor Guitars surpassed Gibson and Martin to become the No. 1 acoustic guitar maker in the United States.
Taylor manufactures Taylor Guitars guitars and cases at its El Cajon, California and Tecate, Mexico factories.
The El Cajon plant manufactures models in the 300s and above, while the Tecate plant produces cases for the Academy series, 200s, and Taylor guitars.
By separating the factories in this way, the craftsmen at each factory are able to thoroughly manage and manufacture each product.
The lineup ranges from No. 100 to No. 900, and the model introduced here is a high-end model called 810, made in 1994.
All Taylor models are managed by number.
The 810 is an 8=800 series, 1=Spruce Top, and 0=Dreadnought size.
Also, there are models with "ce" or "e" at the end of the word, "ce" means cutaway, pickup equipped model / "e" means pickup equipped model, but this model is not originally equipped with pickups.
You can feel the confidence of Taylor Guitar's upper class quality and sound.
Furthermore, there is a difference in the detachable construction in this period: it is fastened by two bolts on the neck block side (now there is also a bolt in the direction of the fingerboard end for a total of three bolts).
The sound is characterized by the shimmering, extended sustain and overtones that are characteristic of the Taylor.
The great sound of the Taylor is that it does not get buried even in band ensembles, and you will feel the great sound that matches the bass with a strong presence and the glossy treble.
With the pickups of your choice, you can make this a versatile instrument for the street or live performance.
Please experience the charm of the Taylor 810 with your own ears.
