In the early 1990s, Ovation's top-of-the-line Super Adamas model was a symbol of such "unreachable dreams.

At a time when the starting salary for a college graduate was around 150,000 yen, the Super Adamas, priced at nearly 1 million yen, was truly a "guitar to see.
