Saburo Nogami / Classical Guitar
"Are you Team Import or Team Domestic?"
While Spain, Germany, and France are renowned for their thriving classical guitar craftsmanship, Japan is also home to many skilled classical guitar makers.
While overseas classical guitars, made using traditional methods and fine woods, are certainly appealing, domestically made guitars, crafted with skilled techniques, quality wood, and the artisan's soul while respecting tradition, also hold their own unique charm.
Saburo Nogami is one of Japan's leading craftsmen. From 1959 to the early 1970s, he apprenticed under Ken Kono, honing his craftsmanship techniques. After becoming independent, he went on to create various models.
This model is a precious piece crafted after his independence.
It features beautifully flowing grain spruce and rosewood, now a rare material.
Gently plucked with your finger for arpeggios, it produces a soft, pleasantly rounded tone. When strummed, you can enjoy its sparkling, bright sound and richly resonant harmonics.
Experience the craftsmanship and enchanting tone that sets it apart from overseas-made instruments.
