Introduced in 1943 as a small-body guitar featuring ladder bracing, the "LG-1"
Although positioned as an affordable guitar in the lineup, it possesses a distinctive sound character and has a dedicated core fanbase.

The model featured here is a 1964 specimen.
It's from the final period of the regular neck, with a nut width of 42mm. However, the string spacing is narrower than standard, giving it a playability somewhat akin to a narrow neck.
Combined with the airy feel characteristic of a plastic bridge, it delivers a pleasant body resonance despite being a laminate.
The deep black sunburst finish, characteristic of this era, adds a touch of sophistication and gives it a great presence.

- Thorough inspection and adjustment of the neck and wood components performed by an acoustic guitar specialist
- Neck is straight, no buzzing or muffled notes
- String height at 12th fret: 2mm (6th string side), 1.6mm (1st string side)
- Nut overhang: Approximately 2.7mm-2.5mm
- Neck grip/body back refinished.
- Frets/saddle replaced
- The bridge has cracks and is slightly raised. (This does not affect playability, but if desired, it can be replaced with a wooden bridge.)
