1959 J-200 with a pleasant driving sound
Gibson / 1959 J-200
A '59 J-200 with Grover "Patent Pend." engraved gold tuners.
The matching modern logo and Grover pegs are very Gibson-like and It is very cool.
The body finish and the flame maple side backs give it a dignity befitting a king.
The neck has a moderately thick shape with a soft V-shape on the low fret side. The original frets are large size and wide.
If you have ever thought that the J-200 is not quite as loud as it should be for its body size, this is the one you should play.
The voluminous, slightly distorted tone with a sense of drive is exceptional.
The response is quick and the sound is clear from the start.
I would like you to play this guitar as much as you like as a playing gear.

The condition of the neck and wood has been inspected and adjusted by a professional acoustic guitar craftsman and all parts are in good condition.
The neck has been straightened and tuned with no chatter or jamming, and the string height at the 12th fret is optimally set at 2.5mm on the 6th string and 2.0mm on the 1st string.
The saddle protrusion height is about 3mm to 5mm, which is generous.
