Vintage 000-18 in player's condition.
Martin / 1951 000-18
Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides & back, mahogany neck, hakaranda fingerboard & bridge, original open-back Cruson pegs, long saddle, T-bar rod, non-scalloped X bracing
The OOO (Triple O) was created in 1902 as a larger model than the OOO (Double O), which had been the largest up to that time, and in 1934, production of the OOO with a 14-fret joint began, The OOO is also known as an "auditorium," and is especially useful for recording purposes.
This instrument is OOO-18 made in 51'.
There is a broken neck repair, and it is offered in player's condition.
The broken neck has been carefully glued and sprayed cleanly, so the natural finish is hard to notice at a quick glance.
In addition to this, this vintage gear is equipped with L.R. Baggs' iBeam and has a strap pin on the neck end for use in live situations.
The sound is also stable with plug-ins.
The lightweight mahogany body produces a dry tone with pleasant treble, and the vintage sound has the nuance of age combined with the core of this age. This 50's Martin is a must have.
