This one equipped with a mustache bridge was made in 1940.
The number of shipments in 1940 is recorded as 56 pieces, indicating its rarity.
The body top is Adirondack spruce.
The fine grain of the wood is very beautiful.
The black color of the sunburst is still there and it is very elegant.
Side back is mahogany. The appearance with full of checkering tells the history as a vintage.
The original SJ-100 had a stair-step headstock and adjustable saddle for each string,
However, this particular SJ-100 has a normal taper headstock and fixed saddle, which is a special specification unique to the transitional period of the '40s.
The script logo inlaid on the head is a supreme vintage Gibson.
The deep bass and ebony fingerboard give the guitar a rich sound. You can enjoy the vintage tone with full volume and persuasive power.
