A model that lets you enjoy the vintage snare sound!

Among the many Ludwig products, this heavy brass shell snare from the 1910s to 1930s is regarded as the best in terms of sound character, looks, and shell construction.

Silver Anniversary' is a model released around 1935. The Tube Lug, which was often seen on earlier models, has been replaced by an Imperial Lug, making it a much more modern design.

The size is 14' x 6.5' with 8 lugs. The head and other parts are equipped with modern ones so that it can be used for recording and other purposes. This is a rare one that was made by a craftsman in those days with great care and has remained in the present age after a few decades.

〜Impression
This is a Silver Anniversary Model that has been changed from a conventional Tube Lug to an Imperial Lug. The sound itself is wonderful (volume and overtones). The sound comes out very forward, so I feel it is not buried. It also has low frequencies and mid-highs, and rather than a specific frequency coming out, there is an impression that the whole sound comes out gently in the front. It seems to be good for singing with a lower tuning. It also has a slightly bright feel due to the fact that it is all around.
