The "KR Indigo" series plunger mute was jointly produced by Kenny Rampton, known as the trumpet player of "Jazz at Lincoln Center," and Hirschman, an American mute manufacturer.

The plunger mute has a large blue silhouette with a distinctive one-cent coin handle. The plunger is linked to the coin inside the plunger, allowing it to be switched between open and closed.

The MAX model, the flagship of the series, is a mute with a fat sound, good pitch feel, easy blowing, easy holding, and rich expressive power.The ultimateplunger mute.

The STANDARD model is recommended for players who want the features of the MAX model, but smaller and easier to hold, or for players who want the traditional plunger sound.

The BIG BLUE model is the trombone version of the MAX model. It offers innovative ease of blowing and good tone and pitch. It can be used commonly from tenor to bass.
