What is “MGBass Guitars”?
MG BASS is a high-end bass manufacturer based in the U.S., led by master luthier Mauricio Costa, that produces small batches of handmade basses characterized by a “mid-fi” sound. With innovative designs, diverse specifications utilizing a wide variety of woods, and a sound that defies its unique appearance to blend seamlessly with band music—combined with a flexible active bass that accommodates any control or part without sounding “too active”—this manufacturer stands apart from the typical high-fi sound often found in high-end instruments.
