Once again, leading up to the event, we were worried—just like last time—whether we’d receive as many entries as before or if we’d gather a wide variety of interesting Effectors, but in the end, we received even more entries than we expected.
I believe this is entirely thanks to your cooperation. Thank you very much!!
The theme was “Ways to Enjoy Effectors!”—so we saw everything from serious custom builds and practical, real-world units to ones where the fun only becomes apparent once you try them out, and even some that make you think, “What on earth is this?!” at first glance. I think the variety was truly remarkable.
I don’t think there’s any other modified Effector pedal contest that brings together such fun entries!!
That’s my personal opinion, anyway!

I had the honor of serving as a judge, and I was deeply inspired by the entries submitted by all of you. There were many eye-opening entries that unfortunately didn’t win this time, so I’d be delighted if you wouldn’t let this discourage you and would submit your entries again next time.
The custom Effector contests we host alternate annually between guitars and Effectors!
The next one will be in two years, but let’s definitely meet again at the Custom Effector Pedal Contest!!
