This is Nakamura, Kubotube!

I realized that there are only 3 days left in January, and one twelfth of the year is over. (Sad).

I am working hard every day to bring you lots of excitement this year as well.

Here is the first excitement of the year.

HUBER MUSIC Mute is now available!

Huber, Huber? What's that?

Most of you probably think, "What's that?

Huber musicmet just two months ago, in November 2023.

A professional player who was on his way back from a trip abroad told me, "There is a good mute..." and he introduced me to this mute. I was introduced to this mute by a professional player on his way back from a trip abroad.

I want this one.

I was convinced that I should introduce it to many players in Japan (really?) and contacted the manufacturer immediately. I immediately contacted the manufacturer. The conversation proceeded smoothly and smoothly, and now we are here.

This mute from Brooklyn, New York uses a 3D printer to produce a variety of mutes, including cups, straights, wah-wahs, pixies, solo tones, and more.

An interesting point is that they are all based on "old classical mutes that are no longer available.

The vintage sounds of Shastock, Ray Robinson, and the Chicago era News Tone line are reissued in a more manageable form, with Huber Music's own interpretation.

Stainless Steelhas a unique, jarring sound with a hint of harshness. It is dark, heavy, and powerful when blown in, a character not found in other mutes.

Aluminumhas a well-focused sound with a good tone profile. It is the most familiar to most players, but it provides a slightly softer nuance.

Cups

The sound varies depending on the combination of the two types of bodies and three types of cups, each sold separately.

Body

"Type A".is designed with a large entrance hole and a long straight section. Inspired by the Shastock cup mute, it produces a bright, open cup sound.

Type B".is Huber's original design. The entrance hole is smaller and the taper is longer to allow more space inside, emphasizing the soft, cup-like sound. The familiar cup sound.
