Outline
A kotsuzumi-bodo (small drum). The weight is 427 grams. The leather mouth is also thin. Body only sold.

Condition
There is a crack at one part of the leather mouth. Maki-e is peeling on a part of the outer circumference of the leather mouth.

Characteristics
Naruko (bird guard to avoid sparrows, etc.) on an ear of rice is one of the standard motifs of maki-e on a tsuzumi (Japanese drum). Whether or not a loud sound is actually produced, it indicates that it is a cylinder that makes a loud sound.
