Raised filler (putty) on the high D key. With no noticeable accident history, dent repairs, or key guard modifications, it remains in exceptionally good condition for a saxophone nearing a century old. It has undergone a complete overhaul and adjustment, including full key and body disassembly cleaning, and replacement of all pads (*), corks, and felts.
※Fitted with CHANU plastic resonator pads
[Features]
An early representative model from when King fully launched its in-house saxophone production "Voll-True".Unlike modern saxophones, it lacks the base plate attached to the body, and the key guard legs are minimized, resulting in a very light and responsive feel. However, likely due to the thickly formed tone holes, it boasts a low-center-of-gravity, solid resonance that is its charm. Although nearly a century old, it is in condition suitable for use as a playing instrument. It has undergone a full overhaul, ensuring comfortable playability. This is a trade-in from a veteran player.
☆Okubo Gakki collaborates with the saxophone specialist repair workshop, Odagiri Kobo, for all adjustment processes. The final balance adjustment is personally handled by Mr. Odagiri himself.
