Passive jazz bass type dragonfly dfb-J1 with fat jazz bass sound and high playability
The dfb-J1 is a passive jazz bass type from Dragonfly, which has a workshop in Ebisu, Tokyo, and produces high-quality handmade instruments. The smooth fingerboard is made of Perferro, and the alder body is based on the Fender Jazz Bass sound of the 60's. The dfb-J1 is also equipped with a series/parallel pickup and a switch to switch between them. The frets are treated with cryogenic treatment (ultra-low temperature treatment) to produce a hardened steel material, and the frets hardly fret at all. The neck is a fat J style neck, which has more grip than a regular jazz bass. You can choose to pass the strings through the back of the body or through the back, allowing you to change the way the strings are strung depending on your preferred tension. This jazz bass type stands on the player's side and offers enhanced playability.
