Taylor Guitars products are primarily manufactured at the El Cajon factory in California and the Tecate factory in Mexico.
Taylor guitars in the Academy~200 series are made at the Tecate factory, while the 300 series and above are made at the El Cajon factory. This division allows for more detailed management of the wood used and the products themselves.
The 2003 Taylor 110 featured here was produced at the Tijuana factory.
It features a solid Sitka spruce top and Sapele sides/back.
The third digit in the model name indicates the body size, with 0 denoting a Dreadnought.
