GOB series of Greco's original design!
In the 1970s, while many copy models were released by various manufacturers in Japan, Greco also made a name for itself by creating a number of famous copy models.
In the late 1970s, Greco began to focus on producing its own original models, and the GO series was born in 1977.
BassThe GOB series, which is a version of the GO series of guitars, is based on the concept of the GO series, with the higher-end models having a through-neck construction named "Speedway Neck" and a laminated body.
This GOB1000 was made in 1979; it is the top-of-the-line model after the GOB1200 was discontinued.
It has a 7-piece maple/walnut neck, ebony fingerboard, and walnut/mahogany flat-top laminated body.
Controls are 2 volume/1 tone/phase SW/series SW/3-way PU SW.
The sound is tight and responsive with an extended sustain due to the through neck, which is impressive.
The bass is not saturated while having a bottom end that firmly supports the ensemble. It has a clean and tight sound, but not too hard texture, making it an attractive piece!
